Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist Tomke has been surrounded by music since childhood—her musical roots lie in classical music, where she received lessons in flute and later in singing at a young age. After years of experience in various music projects (including choirs, orchestras, and bands), she began teaching herself to play the piano. Tomke was inspired by influences from neoclassical and pop music, among others, which is why she now plays both neoclassical compositions of her own and more German pop-style songs on the piano. For Tomke, music is both a balance to everyday life and a place of creative work, and it has become an integral part of her life. A few years ago, Tomke also added the bass to her musical repertoire and now plays bass in the band of Berlin artist Olivia Void.

Die Berliner Multiinstrumentalistin Tomke wird seit ihrer Kindheit von Musik begleitet - ihre musikalischen Wurzeln liegen in der Klassik, wo sie bereits in jungem Alter Unterricht an der Querflöte und später im Gesang erhielt. Nach jahrelanger Erfahrung in verschiedenen Musikprojekten (u.a. Chöre, Orchester, Bands), begann sie, sich das Klavier Spielen selbst beizubringen. Inspiriert wurde Tomke dabei u.a. von Einflüssen aus der Neoklassik und Popmusik, weshalb sie heute sowohl neoklassische Eigenkompositionen als auch deutsch-poppigere Songs am Klavier spielt. Für Tomke ist die Musik sowohl Ausgleich zum Alltag sowie Ort des kreativen Schaffens zugleich und aus ihrem Leben nicht mehr wegzudenken. Vor einigen Jahren fügte Tomke außerdem den Bass zu ihrem musikalischen Repertoire hinzu und spielt heute auch als Bassistin in der Band der Berliner Künstlerin Olivia Void.
